Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Hasimara to Phuentsholing

    Upon your arrival at Hasimara railway station, you'll be escorted to Phuentsholing. Once you've crossed the border and completed the necessary immigration formalities, you'll find yourself in the delightful town of Phuentsholing. This is a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and unwind, preparing for the incredible experiences awaiting you in the following days.

  • Day 2

    Journey to Thimphu

    After a satisfying breakfast and completion of immigration and permit procedures, you'll journey towards Thimphu (Approx. 165 km / 5hrs drive) via Chukha. Nestled at an elevation of 2300m, Thimphu sprawls across a stunning valley on the west bank of the Thimphu Chhu River. You'll have the evening at your leisure, perfect for a relaxing stroll in the valley. Don’t miss the chance to relish the delightful momo kopi, steam dumplings filled with a delicious mix of cabbage, onions, cheese, and butter. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

  • Day 3

    Explore Thimphu

    Commence your day with visits to prominent landmarks in Thimphu such as the Art & Craft School, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, National Library, Handicraft Centers, and the Memorial Chorten, a tribute to the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Explore other sites like Tashichoo Dzong, Buddha Dordenma statue, Bhutan Simply Museum, Folk and Heritage Museum, and more.     Transfer to Paro & Paro Sightseeing

    Early morning checkout and a picturesque transfer to Paro, spanning about 50km over a 2-hour drive, with captivating sightseeing along the way. Behold the historic ruins of Drukgyal Dzong, dating back to 1647, and relish stunning views from the Paro Airport viewpoint. Once in Paro, engage in local sightseeing, visiting Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, and various cultural sites like Dungtse Lhankhang and Kyichu Lhakhang monastery.     Tiger's Nest Monastery Hike

    After breakfast, take a scenic drive to the iconic Taktshang or Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Perched on a steep granite cliff at 2950 meters, this sacred site offers awe-inspiring views of northern Paro valley. It's associated with Guru Rimpoche and is believed that meditating here brings immense merit. Embark on an unforgettable hike to this revered site.

  • Day 6

    Departure to Hasimara

    After a hearty breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to the incredible Land of the Thunder Dragon. We'll arrange for your transfer back to Hasimara, ensuring you depart with cherished memories.
