Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Arrival in Haridwar → Transfer to Barkot (180 km | 6–7 hrs)

    Arrive in Haridwar: proceed to Barkot.
    Check into the hotel: evening at leisure.
    Overnight stay in Barkot.

  • Day 2

    Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot (42 km drive + 6 km trek)

    Drive to Jankichatti (1.5 hrs), then trek/pony/palki to Yamunotri Temple.
    Perform darshan, visit Surya Kund (hot spring), and return to Barkot.
    Overnight stay in Barkot.

  • Day 3

    Barkot → Uttarkashi (100 km | 4–5 hrs)

    Drive to Uttarkashi: visit Prakateshwar Mahadev Cave en route.
