Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Haridwar → Barkot (180 km | 6–7 hrs)

    Morning: Arrive in Haridwar; drive to Barkot. Evening: Check into the hotel; relax. Stay: Overnight in Barkot.

  • Day 2

    Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot (42 km drive + 6 km trek)

    Morning: Drive to Jankichatti, trek to Yamunotri Temple (pony/palki available). Darshan: Visit Yamunotri Temple and Surya Kund. Evening: Return to Barkot. Stay: Overnight in Barkot.

  • Day 3

    Barkot → Uttarkashi (100 km | 4–5 hrs)

    Morning: Drive to Uttarkashi; visit Prakateshwar Mahadev Cave en route. Evening: Check into the hotel; free time. Stay: Overnight in Uttarkashi.

  • Day 4

    Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Guptkashi (220 km | 9–10 hrs)

    Early Morning: Drive to Gangotri Temple for darshan. Afternoon: Return to Uttarkashi; proceed to Guptkashi. Stay: Overnight in Guptkashi/Sonprayag.

  • Day 5

    Guptkashi → Kedarnath (30 km drive + 16 km trek/helicopter)

    Morning: Drive to Sonprayag → Gaurikund; trek or take a helicopter to Kedarnath. Darshan: Visit Kedarnath Temple. Stay: Overnight in Kedarnath (tented camp/basic lodge).

  • Day 6

    Kedarnath → Guptkashi → Badrinath (180 km | 9–10 hrs)

    Badrinath Darshan → Rudraprayag/Srinagar (160 km | 6–7 hrs)
