Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Arrival at Madurai

    An early morning flight – Delhi to Madurai/ Transfer to Rameshwaram (180 Kms/ 3-4 hrs)
    An early morning flight to Madurai. Pick up on arrival at Madurai airport and proceed to Rameswaram. Enroute stop at Pamban Bridge for photography and later check in at the hotel. Afternoon, we will do sightseeing tour of Rameswaram. The temple here is highly famous among Hindu pilgrims all-round the globe, visit Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam memorial and other attractions in and around.

  • Day 2

    In Rameshwaram

    Today, after breakfast – you will visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple Dedicated to Lord Shiva (if not visited yesterday). It is one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples and is Known for Its Grandiose Architecture. Next, Visit the Adam’s Bridge or Rama Setu, a Chain of Limestone Shoals Between Pamban Island and Mannar Island. You will be taken to Dhanushkodi, the Beautiful Ruin at the South-eastern Tip of Pamban Island. Later return to the hotel and the remaining time in the evening is free at own leisure or for shopping.

  • Day 3

    Morning drive to Madurai

    Morning drive to Madurai (180 Kms / 3-4 hrs) / Madurai Sightseeing.
    Today morning, checkout after breakfast and return drive to Madurai. Check-in at the hotel and freshen up. Later visit Meenakshi Temple, said to have been built in the 6th Century BC. After visiting Meenakshi temple proceed to Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, a Rock Cut Temple Which is Believed to have Been Built By the Pandyas During the 6th Century. Later (if time permits) - Visit Thirumalai Nayak Palace, the Regal Palace of the Nayaks of Madurai Which Will Give You a Deeper Understanding of the Local History and Gandhi Museum.

  • Day 4

    An early morning departure transfer to Madurai airport.

    Today an early morning, departure transfer to Madurai airport to board on the flight to home or next destination.
